Band in the USA: Taking Back Sunday take ‘152’ out for 2024

A few weeks ago, Taking Back Sunday hit us with a new album in 152, the Long Island emo survivalists eighth overall and first in seven years. Now the dudes will be spending much of the new year showing it off across the country, unveiling a two-part, 37-date North American tour that brings Citizen along for the ride and plays Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway in August.

Following a quick pre-sale, tickets to all dates go on sale to the general public this Friday (December 8).

So how’s the band feeling these days?

“Man, just taking it all in,” Taking Back Sunday share in a press statement. “We’ve been on a whirlwind on finishing the record, getting everything ready to put it out, making all the plans. Now comes our other favorite part, getting to visit so many cities in North America and playing live. The set will be a good mixture of albums and the reception for 152 has been so positive that we can’t wait to get out there and play some of those songs for the first time in these cities and make magic all summer. Citizen also put out a great new record so we’re going to have a good time together. Can’t wait.”

Fire up 152 and see if Taking Back Sunday are coming to your town after the Spotify jump.
