Blackberry Smoke, Be Right Here Tour, March 21
Lansdowne Street is no stranger to wild times, but things will get a “Little Bit Crazy” on March 21 — just as the St. Patrick’s Day madness quiets down. Adding their part will be Blackberry Smoke, the Georgia country and southern rock band set play Citizens House of Blues in Boston right after they release new album Be Right Here a month earlier. We’ve already got a taste of the record via the rollicking “Little Bit Crazy” last month, and this week brings a new single called “Hammer And The Nail.” Next year also marks the 20th anniversary for the enduring independent band, who have shared the stage with the likes of ZZ Top, Zac Brown Band, and Eric Church while building a dedicated fanbase. But the new album is the focus. “We didn’t feel a whole lot of pressure to go in and make this one quickly,” says frontman Charlie Starr. “It’s just as natural and as real as possible.” Tickets go on sale Friday (November 17) at 10 a.m. local time.
