An ideal Tuesday night may not include quality time with rodents, but it probably should include Squirrel Flower. Fresh off of the release of her sophomore album Tomorrow’s Fire last Friday (October 13) via Polyvinyl, the Arlington-born, Chicago-based indie darling is back in town tonight (October 24) for an autumnal homecoming show at Brighton Music Hall in Allston. As a chill sets in across Boston and the leaves wither and fall, the rock-edged pop and cynical lyricism of Tomorrow’s Fire offers the perfect soundtrack to seasonally-appropriate musings. Kicking off the show will be Raleigh rockers Truth Club and shoegaze-adjacent group Knifeplay, who describe themselves as “a band that evades definition” hailing from Philadelphia-by-way-of-Maryland. Get into Tomorrow’s Fire today, ahead of tonight’s show, below.

SQUIRREL FLOWER + TRUTH CLUB + KNIFE PLAY :: Tuesday, October 24 at Brighton Music Hall, 158 Brighton Ave in Allston, MA :: 7 p.m., all-ages, $18 :: Event Info :: Advance Tickets
