Letters to Cleo return with new 7-inch ahead of anniversary shows

A new murder tune from Letters to Cleo wasn’t on our 2023 bingo card, but you won’t hear us complaining.

Ahead of Halloween — and the band’s Aurora Gory Alice 30th anniversary shows — the Boston band has pressed a new 7-inch record, their first new music since 2019’s OK Christmas EP. The release offers the new songs “It’s Sunny Outside” and “Bad Man,” the latter of which paves a grisly, hard-earned road to safety and freedom for a righteous protagonist.

While the new tracks hit steaming services last week (October 20), tri-color physical copies of the record will only be available at upcoming Letters to Cleo shows, including their November 17 and 18 performances at the Paradise Rock Club. Following the festivities for Aurora Gory Alice, the band’s online merch shop will stock the record.

Tune in here and now, so you can pick up some fresh wax next month.
