It feels like we’re still several weeks, a few holidays, and one boring New Year’s Eve away from the crush of 2024 music festival announcements, but one party out in the desert is getting a jump on the action. Schellraiser 2024 goes down in McGill, Nevada, just after Memorial Day weekend, posting up May 30 to June 1 in the small eastern town of the Silver State. And this week, the third-year fest has unveiled its initial lineup, and it’s pretty solid: Ladytron, We Are Scientists, and Mercury Rev lead a bill that also includes The Raveonettes, No Joy, The Besnard Lakes, Miki Berenyi Trio, The Paranoyds, Plague Vendor, and more.
