We’re trying to be “Cool About It,” but hey, that’s no use. boygenius, the American supergroup of Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus, announced a short run of shows a while back in support of their AOTY contender, the record. And here in Boston, two of those shows arrive tonight and tomorrow (September 25 and 26) as the trio post up at MGM Music Hall at Fenway for relatively intimate gigs. And we say intimate, because elsewhere, boygenius are flexing their collective muscle with shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The MGM shows kicks off their run, and they’ve brought along one-time Allston artist Palehound for opening duties, which makes the evenings even more special. “Not Strong Enough”? No way.
