Fangirl Fantasy, 1989 Taylor’s Version Unofficial Release Party, October 28
“No one does a Taylor Swift release party better than Boston.” That’s the word from Fangirl Fantasy, the Boston-born club night that transports your bedroom and car ride listening habits into the club, billed as “the ultimate fangirl experience created by a fangirl for a fangirl.” After taking the DJ parties out on the road — celebrating the music of One Direction, Harry Styles, 5SOS and more — Fangirl Fantasy returns home for an October 28 romp at Boston’s Citizens House of Blues with a very special theme: The 1989 Taylor’s Version unofficial release and listening party. The album drops the night before, and given the polished pop bounce of the record — “Shake It Off!” “Bad Blood!” “Blank Space!” — and it being the Saturday night before Halloween (yowza!), this should be one heck of a party.
