Don’t look now, but our very own Slowdive September is fast approaching. The legendary shoegaze band releases new album everything is alive on September 1 via Dead Oceans, and louden up Boston’s House of Blues on September 25. To further amplify our excitement for the coming month, Slowdive have this week shared a new tune called “the slab,” and its title easily suggests its sonic contents. “[It’s] the heaviest on the record and as the name suggests we wanted it to feel like a big slab of music,” says Neil Halstead. “We wanted it to feel very dense.” Dive in below, and also revisit June’s wonderful “kisses”.
