Diners finds a sure thing for forward motion with ‘Someday I’ll Go Surfing’

Those who wish to go surfing this summer are quickly running out of time. But those who ponder something deeper just off the shore don’t have to act with such urgency. And that’s fantastic, because Diners‘ new jangly guitar-pop single “Someday I’ll Go Surfing” demands an extended runway as an empowering anthem of forward motion. “‘Someday I’ll Go Surfing’ isn’t exclusively about surfing,” admits Diners’ Blue Broderick, “but rather confronting the unknown and moving on to the next big thing.” For Diners, the next big thing is the release of the Phoenix-born, Los Angeles-based project’s new Mo Troper-produced album, DOMINO, which hits August 18 via Bar/None Records.
