Mike Birbiglia’s holiday homecoming offers ‘Christmas Parmesan’ for all

Via The Wilbur

Every annual or semi-annual homecoming with Mike Birbiglia feels more and more like a gift with every passing year. But as he aims to close out 2023 on a festively high note, it’s looking like lil’ St. Birbigs got himself a brand new bag o’ donuts.

As announced earlier this week, Birbiglia will be making his way back home with four servings of his latest one-man show, Christmas Parmesan, at The Wilbur from December 20 to 23. The four-show run will be his first on Tremont Street since he set up shop for a five-show stop in 2021. Aside from his ever-evolving and expanding creative vision for what he can do on stage with his elite stand-up and storytelling approach, which resulted in a 70-show Broadway run of his most recent one-man show, The Old Man and The Pool, Birbiglia has kept busy away from the stage, as well.

Since his last time in Boston, Birbiglia has also flexed his acting muscles a bit, with roles in A Man Named Otto starring Tom Hanks, the Netflix animated Big Mouth spin off, Human Resources, and even a part in the music video for Taylor Swift’s mega-hit “Anti-Hero” in 2022.

Tickets to these shows can be accessed via The Regulars pre-sale starting today (July 26) at 10 a.m. ET. General pre-sale can be accessed tomorrow (July 27) at 10 a.m. ET by using the code VANYA, before general on-sale starts on Friday (July 28) at 10 a.m. ET.
