House of Harm remodel their darkwave for new song ‘Madhouse’

After tasting the light, House of Harm are withdrawing into a Stygian “Madhouse.” The Boston post-punk outfit knock at despondency’s door in their new single and music video, a project that converts this House of vivacious darkwave into a place of listless yearning. “Madhouse” officially dropped last week (July 20) after first appearing on a limited-edition cassette that also included the shimmering May single “Taste the Light.” “To pass the day, where can I go? / To sort it out and leave,” ponders singer Mike Rocheford, caught alone with his thoughts after the golden rays of “Taste the Light” have faded.
