Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, December 30 and 31

Prepare for an extra serving of psychedelic jam-funk this New Year’s Eve. Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will help drop the ball on 2024 with a pair of shows at Citizens House of Blues to close out the year, December 30 and 31. The two-night stand continues a rise for the Baltimore band, who will spend much of the remaining year on the festival circuit before a ’23 finale on Lansdowne. “Boston has always been one of the rowdiest cities we’ve ever played,” says frontman “Scrambled” Greg Ormont. “From the first time we ever played in the Northeast, we were blown away by their wild energy. We already know they’re going to bring the heat for our first new year’s run in Boston and they know we’ll do the same and then some.” Tickets go on sale Friday (July 21) at 10 a.m. local time.
