Another day, another trailer for ‘The Flash’

Flash
Warner Bros

If it feels like we wrote about The Flash getting a brand-new trailer just a little while ago, well, you’re right, we did. The world premiere of Andy Muscietti’s superhero opus was at CinemaCon last month (albeit as a “work-in-progress” screening), and following the Warner Bros. panel and the screening, WB dropped a long trailer for the movie to compliment the already-quite-long first preview they released after the Super Bowl. Soon enough, they’ll drop enough trailers that one probably could construct a not-insignificant amount of the movie itself, and the time between trailers is only getting shorter (we are not buying that this is the final trailer). That said, Michael Keaton is Batman again, so we know you’re going to watch this third trailer because, well, duh. So stop gawking over that dope-looking Batman Returns Lego set and get to it, nerd. There’s only so much time left in the workday.

Peep it:

Here’s a synopsis that we are pretty sure we could type out verbatim from having posted it so often:

“Worlds collide in ‘The Flash’ when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?”

The Flash gets nuts in theaters everywhere on June 16.
