Starting this week, a new music venue and supper club is sprucing up the sounds of Boston’s Seaport.
Grace By Nia opened Thursday (May 11) at 60 Seaport Blvd., offering an array of jazz, funk, R&B, and soul music every Wednesday through Sunday. The new space accommodates 166 seated guests (or 243 standing guests) and will feature performances from DJs, house and guest instrumentalists, and touring artists.
“The space is fully equipped for national touring acts to play in a high-end, intimate setting,” says Director of Production Mike Green, commenting on Grace By Nia’s extravagant ambiance, set by chandeliers and shimmering metallic accents. Extra features in the live performance space include the abilities to livestream or lay down multi-track recordings.
Grace by Nia is a joint project between Roxbury restauranteur Nia Grace and Big Night Entertainment Group, owner of Boston nightclubs Big Night Live, Memoire, and The Grand. While Big Night Entertainment Group contributes its live music know-how, Grace brings a Southern-inspired menu, which boasts bourbon peach spare ribs, Creole seafood gumbo, molasses-braised beef oxtails, and coconut grits. The brunch menu doesn’t disappoint either, with items like praline beignets, red velvet pancakes, and candied pepper bacon.
