Straight No Chaser, Sleighin’ It Tour, December 6
Like a weathered New Englander, Straight No Chaser know how to adapt for the seasons. The Indiana a capella group are spending the summer belting out yacht rock tunes across North America, but quickly shift into Santa mode this holiday season, swinging down Lansdowne Street’s chimney and delivering the Sleighin’ It Tour to MGM Music Hall at Fenway on December 6. The stop is part of a massive 47-date, 25th anniversary tour for the nine-piece collective, who have released a string of Christmas albums since first getting noticed via an upload of “The 12 Days of Christmas” back in the mid-2000s. ‘Tis the season, indeed. Tickets go on sale Friday (May 12) at 10 a.m. local time.
