Claud, September 17
Claud experienced a breakout in 2021 with Super Monster, and now the celebrated bedroom pop singer-songwriter from the Chicago suburbs is set to make a mighty impression on 2023 with the July release of sophomore album Supermodels. There’s a lot of “super” in that sentence, and we’ll find out why when Claud returns to Boston to play Brighton Music Hall on September 17. For a taste of the new record, Claud this week dropped a new single and video for “Every Fucking Time,” which the press notes wonderfully describes as “an anthemic interrogation of a relationship’s terms and conditions that somehow triangulates Avril, Oasis, and Taylor in less than three minutes.” Sign us up, super. Tickets go on sale Friday (May 5) at 10 a.m. local time.
