James Bay

When an artist says take a leap with them, you look for reasons to trust them. When James Bay says take a Leap with him, he presents an entire album’s worth — and one just might be called “Give Me The Reason” (as he’ll illustrate below) The English singer-songwriter is back on our shores this summer for 10 dates across the United States and Canada, and included is an August 21 romp at Citizens House of Blues in Boston. Bay will be back showing off last summer’s third studio album Leap, and a host of his classic material. Tickets go on sale Friday (March 17) at 10 a.m. local time.

Matt and Kim

Pop quiz: What’s a holiday celebrated the most times each year? Answer: A Matt and Kim show. The veteran indie electronic duo from Brooklyn, who never forget their New England ties — Matt Johnson is originally from Vermont and Kim Schifino is originally from Rhode Island — are back in Boston for a September 26 show at Citizens House of Blues. They just posted a video assuring everyone they’re “still alive”, and they’ll provide in vibrant color when they once again take over Lansdowne Street. Tickets go on sale Saturday (March 18) at 1 p.m. local time, so treat yourself this weekend.
