We’ve always known Margaret Cho to be a passionate and brutally honest artist. Now come 2023, she’s got ready to be live and livid, and she’s bringing her gripe to Boston.
Announced earlier this week, the critically-acclaimed comedian, author, and activist will be embarking on a spring tour in 2023, dubbed the Live & Livid tour, which includes one night on the Wilbur stage on April 13. It’s been a hot minute since we last heard from Cho in terms of a special or any recorded material, with her last release coming in the form of 2015’s PsyCHO, but the longtime comedy all-star has kept busy onstage, as well as in front of the camera with roles and appearances in a number of films and TV shows including Hacks, Awkwifina is Nora From Queens, Fire Island and more.

Returning to the city with an ascension to a new room, the actress and podcast host makes her Wilbur debut on May 13. In addition to shows in clubs and theaters all over the country, Earlier this year, Berner was named one of Just For Laugh’s “New Faces of Comedy.”
