Sam Morril makes his way to The Wilbur with a true ‘Class Act’

Since his last visit to Boston, Sam Morril has stayed pretty busy with creating and delivering comedy. From rooftops to comedy clubs, he’s spent the past three years entrenched in the craft, and now as he makes his way back, he’s bringing quite the class act along with him.

As announced earlier this week, the New York-based comedian will bring his dry-but-potent style of comedy to Boston’s Wilbur Theatre in the new year, with one show on March 10 as part of his Class Act tour. Since 2018, Morril has released four stand-up specials (Positive Influence on Comedy Central, I Got This and Up On The Roof on YouTube, and most recently Same Time Tomorrow on Netflix), as well as a full-length documentary, Full Capacity on YouTube, which chronicled the state of live comedy as clubs reopened in New York City after the pandemic shutdowns. He also co-hosts the We Might Be Drunk podcast alongside Mark Normand.

But before we look any further ahead into 2023, Andrew Santino isn’t letting 2022 go away quietly, as he has added a third show to his New Year’s weekend at The Wilbur, with a 10 p.m. late show on December 30.
