At this point, it’s starting to seem like the feeling of not getting enough of each other is mutual between Nemr and the Boston Comedy scene. And make no mistake, that is by no means a bad thing.
As announced earlier this week, the Lebanese-American comedy star will be making another trek to the Wilbur stage in the new year, as part of his Droppin’ Hot tour on February 5. While it hasn’t really been all that long since his last gathering on Tremont Street, he’s making his way back to the city with a brand new hour, and what we can only hope is more of that upfront, honest, and masterfully-crafted social commentary and top-notch observational humor he’s brought to theaters all over the world throughout his career.
But before we get a reunion welcomed with arms wide open, Boston gets a taste of the backwoods as viral sketch artist Ginger Billy take the country roads all the way to The Wilbur on January 23 as part of his Backwoods Comedy Tour. A relatively new face to the stand-up scene, the over-the-top nature of his social media content depicting some rootin’-tootin’ country living has garnered over six million followers across all platforms, and the reaction has led to his very first full comedy tour.
Tickets for all shows go on sale to the public today (October 14) at noon ET.
