This year’s When We Were Young Festival goes down later this month in Las Vegas with My Chemical Romance and Paramore leading a very healthy list of bands you loved when, uhhhh, you were young. But organizers are already getting a jump on next year’s festivities with word of the 2023 edition, and if anyone was wondering why a certain band wasn’t playing in 2022, the answer is probably because they’re tapped for the next one.
Leading the colorful and jam-packed lineup poster is Green Day and the reunited blink-182, featuring original members Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker. Under that ticket-movin’ tag-team, the list of undercard bands feels rather endless: 30 Seconds To Mars, The Offspring, Good Charlotte, 5 Seconds of Summer, All Time Low, Yellowcard, Rise Against, Sum 41, Pierce the Veil, Gym Class Heroes, Michelle Branch, Thrice, The Wrecks, KennyHoopla, Rise Against, Simple Plan, New Found Glory, Waterparks, and a bunch more. We can’t list them all, just look at that flyer.
When We Were Young 2023, by the way, goes down October 21 at the Las Vegas Fairgrounds. We’re just gonna copy/paste the ticket info so we don’t mess up and deets:
