Did you have a nice September? Would you like to have an even better one next year? Arctic Monkeys sure hope you do, and this week have unveiled a North American tour for 2023 that requires a little bit of planning and a whole lot of anticipation.
Alex Turner and the rest of the dudes will strut our lands late next summer across 22 dates that begin August 25 in Minneapolis and wrap September 29 in Los Angeles, with Fontaines D.C. on board for the full run. A few stops in is a September 3 twirl at Boston’s TD Garden, and tickets go on sale this Friday (October 7) at 10 a.m. local time.
By the time the tour rolls around, we’ll be well acquainted with the new Arctic Monkeys album, The Car, the follow-up to 2018’s Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino that sees the light of day on October 21. We’ve been treated to a pair of singles fro the record so far; listen to “Body Paint” as you scan the list of shows in search of your special town.
