Even with those pesky dad ties to that uber-famous Irish rock band, we’ve become quite smitten with Inhaler, the Dublin indie band led by frontman Elijah Hewson. Back in June they released another adrenalized tune in “These Are The Days,” their first new music since last year’s electric debut album It Won’t Always Be Like This, and tonight they’re back in our fair city for the first of two consecutive sold-out shows at The Sinclair in Cambridge. As an added bonus, Boston luminaries Divine Sweater are opening up both gigs, so those currently clutching tickets either paper or digital are encouraged to get there early.
“We’ve put a lot of blood, sweat & late nights into this one, happy to finally be showing you what we’ve been getting up to,” Inhaler wrote on Instagram about their latest effort. “Thank you for continuing to let us pursue our farfetched & exotic dream of playing in a band. You’re all as mental about this band as us and we couldn’t be more grateful for you. This song is dedicated to all of yiz.”
Raise a glass tonight, raise a glass on Tuesday night.
