Band in the USA: The Joy Formidable unveil tours with Front Bottoms, Cuffed Up

Courtesy of the band

What the world needs now is… to get lost in the swirling calm panic of The Joy Formidable. The Welsh-born alt-rock band, now a duo of co-founders Ritzy Bryan and Rhydian Dafydd, have unveiled a healthy string of fall tour dates across North America that includes headlining shows with support from Cuffed Up, major festival gigs, and a run with The Front Bottoms.

With these shows, The Joy Formidable get to show off their 2021 album Into the Blue. And Boston gets re-acquainted with an October 28 headlining gig at The Sinclair in Cambridge.

“We finally get to see you North American friends,” says Bryan. “We’ve missed you so much. It’s been almost three years since our last full length tour of the USA & Canada. The interim bore a new album, Into the Blue, some beautiful online shows & a much grown back catalogue within our TJF Music Club. We’ve been busy & connected but time to come together again, with gusto & a degree of madness with three packed months of headline, festival and support shows.”

Tickets for the club shows go on sale Thursday (June 30) at noon local time. Get all the dates below.
