Beyoncé brings the house down with Robin S. & Big Freedia on ‘Break My Soul’

Never mind the Song of the Summer, Beyoncé is here with the Song We’ll Hear In Gyms For The Next 20 Years. It’s called “Break My Soul,” it features a modified sample from Robin S.’s legendary house jam “Show Me Love,” and vocals lifted from Big Freedia’s 2014 banger “Explode.” Talk about a “release… ya anger… ya mind… ya job… the time… ya trade… ya stress… the love.”

The track hits the streams today (June 21), and is the first offering since the announcement of the pop and R&B superstar’s forthcoming album Renaissance, out July 29.

Big Freedia, who is listed as co-writer, is especially feeling the love, tweeting: “It feels surreal to be on the track with the Queen Beyonce once again I’m so honored to be apart of this special moment I’m forever grateful lord… someone please catch me.”
