Life in 2022 is fucked up. One minute we’re having a pretty decent day, feeling alright, getting by; and then suddenly we’re reminded of the constant atrocities occurring literally all around us. We’re up, and then we’re down. It’s pretty overwhelming, and our dances with guilt are a frequent occurrence. But now when we dance, we have two new Jungle tracks to get us high while getting low, and the pair of titles from the British songwriting and production duo are a perfect summation for our two moods: “GOOD TIMES” and “PROBLEMZ.”
Both joints, the follow-up last year’s Loving In Stereo record, have a ’70s disco-soul-funk vibe to them, with the former the street strutter and the later the soundtrack to a front porch chill zone, and they are sure to put a lift in our summer step. Jungle also dropped a short film to give some visuals to the bounce, directed by JFC Worldwide (Charlie Placido and J. Lloyd) and starring Amsterdam dance crew the Ghetto Funk Collective
