Enter Mic’d Up, our ongoing weekly series that details the best live comedy shows to consider as you head out and about. Below find our rundown for this week, through Sunday (May 29).

Tig Notaro at UMass Amherst Fine Arts Center

After having to reschedule her original date with ZooMass earlier this year, Notaro is making good on her promise to make it up, and we couldn’t be happier to see her in the area again. No one does it like Tig, and very few do it as precisely and effectively.

Kelsey Cook at Laugh Boston

She can take the late-night spotlight by storm, there’s no doubt about that — but make no mistake, Kelsey Cook’s open and honest approach to stand-up is even more hard-hitting away from the arena of clean comedy. So, regardless of what type of comedy tickles your fancy, Kelsey Cook can do it all with refreshingly real and impressive creative agility.
