The 2022 lineup for Riot Fest is out, and it’s pretty damn spectacular. Headlining the September 16 to 18 festival at Chicago’s Douglass Park are My Chemical Romance, Nine Inch Nails, and the original Misfits performing Walk Among Us, the undercard, in true Riot Fest tradition, is pretty great.
“I think this year’s lineup really speaks to who we are; it’s been a minute since we’ve gotten to curate a lineup like this,” Riot Fest founder Mike Petryshyn says in a statement. “I’m especially excited for what this is leading into: The stuff that’s happening in the next few weeks, and the years to come.”
Our focus is on that weekend in September. In addition to the trio of headliners, Riot Fest ’22 features a reunited Sunny Day Real Estate, plus Placebo (!!!), Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bauhaus, Ice Cube, Sleater-Kinney, Descendents, PVRIS, Bleachers, Cloud Nothings, Yellowcard, Action Bronson, Jeff Rosenstock, Alice Glass, Bully, Rocket From the Crypt, Boston Manor, Bob Vylan (!!!), Mannequin Pussy, Jimmy Eat World, The Linda Lindas, and plenty more.
