‘Weird Al’ Yankovic at Chevalier Theatre
Sure, it’s meant to be sarcastic, but there’s nothing “unfortunate” about the return of Yankovic, as he settles into the Chevalier spotlight for two shows of original work, from top to bottom – with perhaps a little surprise thrown in here and there. Combined with the legendary comedic stylings of Emo Philips, both nights are sure to get weird (duh!), and memorable to say the least.
Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 at Chevalier Theatre, 30 Forest St. in Medford, MA :: 8 p.m. both nights :: Tickets are $60 to $100
Janet McNamara at The Comedy Attic
The former American Idol contestant has nothing to prove in front of a comedy audience, as her appearances in headlining slots all over the region, as well her efforts in the Boston Comedy Festival speak for themselves. As one of the region’s best in the scene, McNamara delivers night after night.
Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 at The Comedy Attic, 257 Park Ave. in Worcester, MA :: 8 p.m. :: Tickets are $20
The Doughboys at The Wilbur
What’s on the menu? All we know for sure is “food-based comedy product” is an ingredient, and that couldn’t have us anymore excited. Dine out and get down with Nick Wiger and local boy Mike Mitchell as they dissect another delicacy, and come back for seconds, in front of our very eyes.
Saturday, May 7 at The Wilbur Theatre, 246 Tremont St. in Boston, MA :: 7 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. :: Tickets are $35 to $75
Nick Mullen at Laugh Boston
Nick Mullen abides by no limits. Regardless of the topic he’s tackling, the Cum Town podcast host is sure to approach it with a brutal honesty, a unique angle, and a dangerously sharp wit.
Thursday, May 5 to Saturday, May 7 at Laugh Boston, 425 Summer St. in Boston, MA :: Thursday at 8 p.m.; Friday at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. :: All shows sold out
