Up until now, we’ve only been so lucky to catch the comedy power of Joel Kim Booster either in in small doses or through our headphones. Thankfully, we’ll get the full hour special treatment this summer.
As announced today (April 29), Kim Booster will get to cash in on the opportunity to visually unleash his critically-acclaimed comedy power with Psychosexual, which lands on Netflix on June 21. In a refreshingly unique fashion, the Sunnyside and Fire Island actor will deliver the brutally honest and dangerously sharp perspectives on topics surrounding race, culture, and sexuality that have fueled his ascension through the ranks in three fully-crafted sets. From learning the cultural nuances of being Asian as he gets older, sharing his preference for threesomes with tips for successful masturbation, and his fascination for human sexuality among so much more, Kim Booster takes the stage at Catch One in Los Angeles by storm with the long-standing precision that has made him one of the most highly-regarded artists in the scene.
The special will be his first visual batch of recorded material, but his second release overall, as he dropped his debut album, Model Minority, in 2017.
Keep an eye on this space, as we will update all the info you need, including when any clips or trailers become available.
