Whether you’re in the mood for stand-up, musical comedy, or just looking for a fresh perspective, Corey Holcomb has you covered this fall.
Making his way to Boston’s Wilbur Theatre on Sunday, October 9, Holcomb will bring with him what has been described as an “auditory and visual experience,” where he separates his own curated approach to the stage from “normal” stand-up comedy. Meshing stand-up with both comical and R&B songs, as well as a heaping dose of advice and cautionary tales wading heavily in the realm of love and relationships, Holcomb brings the whole gambit to Tremont Street that will not only entertain, but also perhaps help us see some stuff a little differently by end of the night.
Aside from his work on stage that has spanned more than two decades, Holcomb can also be seen in his past comedy specials The Problem Is You and Your Way Ain’t Working, as well as the role of Boonie in the Adult Swim sitcom Black Jesus, which ran from 2014 to 2019, and his current project, The Corey Holcomb 5150 Show podcast.
Tickets for Holcomb’s Boston romp can be accessed via pre-sale today (February 23) at noon EST using the code VANYA.
