Eliza & The Delusionals are ready to ‘Give You Everything’ and they mean it

We hate to split the times into the before and the now, but there’s such a sense of modern nostalgia in listening to Eliza & The Delusionals. We were pretty sweet the Australian alt-rock band in those long-gone pre-pandemic days of not too long ago, who on the the strength of some incredible singles positioned themselves as a band literally everyone needed to know. But Eliza Klatt and the squad stayed busy during the worst of times, and now emerge with new music just as we’re finally seeing some sunlight at the end of this seemingly endless nocturnal tunnel.

Eliza & The Delusionals’ debut album Now And Then is set for a May 20 release via Cooking Vinyl, and yesterday (February 15) they offered up another tune from the record, a twirling alt-pop number called “Give You Everything” that shows no lie in its title.

“I think this album was the best thing to come out of the pandemic for us,” says Klatt. “We had just dealt with a huge loss of all of our touring in America, and when we got back to Australia we both were feeling quite lost and sad. We took the opportunity to build a studio at home and bunker down and turn all of the feelings that we had been experiencing for the past two years into songs.”

More to come, we are certainly sure.
