Arguably, the finest delivery of any art form is that which makes you feel something, and causes you to look inward. Taylor Tomlinson is here to supply more than some of that, with a little bit of local connection to boot.
With an announcement today (February 9) flanked by a short teaser, Tomlinson’s new one-hour special, Look At You, is now set to premiere on Netflix on March 8. It will mark Tomlinson’s second full-hour special following Quarter-Life Crisis, which also premiered on Netflix in March 2020.
As she detailed in a chat with Vanyaland back in December 2021 before filming the special at The Wilbur during a string of mostly sold-out shows, Tomlinson’s latest batch of material will wade heavily in sharing her experiences and struggles with mental health, as well as handling grief and the rollercoaster that is the dating game.
