Remember the other day when you were like “Man, I really wanna go rock out this summer?” Well, The Black Keys heard you — they hear everything — and today (January 31) have unveiled their 32-date Dropout Boogie tour of North America that takes the boys out on the road this summer and fall.

This run marks Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney’s first Black Keys tour since hyping Let’s Rock back in 2019, and last year the duo dropped a blues album, Delta Kream via Nonesuch Records, and re-released seventh album El Camino with the “super-deluxe” 10th anniversary edition treatment. So there’s plenty of ground to cover here.

Band of Horses are tapped as direct support for all dates on the Dropout Boogie tour, which kicks off July 9 in Vegas and wraps October 18 in Dallas. Ceramic Animal (July 9 to 30), Early James (August 24-to September 9) and The Velveteers (October 2 to 18) will open select dates. The Boston-area show arrives July 29, when The Black Keys play Mansfield’s Xfinity Center.

General ticket on-sale is Friday (February 4) at 10 a.m. local time, but there are a bunch of pre-sales and VIP package offers happening this week, so hit theblackkeys.com for all the info.
