Our old pal Eddie Vedder is rolling across the country for select shows in early 2022, and he’s bringing Glen Hansard along for the ride.
Vedder and his band the Earthlings — drummer Chad Smith, keyboardist/guitarist/vocalist Josh Klinghoffer, bassist Chris Chaney, guitarist/vocalist Glen Hansard, and guitarist Andrew Watt — will play eight shows in February, celebrating the Pearl Jam frontman’s new solo album. That’s called Earthling, and it’s out February 11 via Seattle Surf/Republic Records. Hansard will also open the shows playing his own material.
Things kick off February 3 and 4 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, with a show February 6 in New Jersey at NJPAC. That’s as close as the boys will get to New England on this run, heading afterwards to Chicago before a string of West Coast dates. Get all the show info below on the flyer.
There will be no general public sale. Instead tickets are available through a pre-sale for Ten Club members through Ticketmaster’s Eddie Vedder Request page, and public tickets are available through Ticketmaster Verified Fan Registration.
Produced by Watt, Earthling marks Vedder’s first solo album since 2011’s Ukulele Songs, and new single “The Haves,” released last month, can be heard below.
