Marc Maron returns to The Wilbur for (possibly) the last time

Any time Marc Maron makes his way back to Boston is a great time indeed. However, with the name of his new tour, the best time to see him might be the last time.

As announced this week, the comedy veteran and award-winning podcast trailblazer will be bringing his latest show, This May Be The Last Time, to The Wilbur on Saturday, April 16. The return to his old stomping grounds will mark Maron’s first trip to Boston since October 2019, when he brought his Hey, There’s More tour to the Shubert.

Most recently, Maron released his widely-acclaimed and oddly well-timed stand-up special, End Times Fun, on Netflix in March 2020. He was awarded the inaugural Governor’s Award in recognition of his contributions to the podcasting world, as part of the first incarnation of The Ambies earlier this year.

In addition to Maron’s return to The Wilbur, Ms. Pat will also find herself there on May 21. It’s a welcomed return to the city for the comedian, author, actor and podcaster as she’s riding high on her comedic energy coming to us in a myriad of ways over the last year and a half, with an appearance on Bert Kreischer’s The Cabin on Netflix, and her multi-can sitcom, The Ms. Pat Show, premiering on BET+ earlier this summer. This past September, she brought her brutally honest comedy back to her hone city of Atlanta to shoot her next special, which is slated to premiere on Netflix in 2022.

Christina Pazsitsky, otherwise known as Christina P, will be making her way back to Boston in the early days of June 2022, as well, when she hits The Wilbur on June 5. Aside from her two Netflix specials (2017’s Mother Inferior, and a half-hour spot as part of The Degenerates), Pazsitsky is also the co-host of the wildly popular podcast, Your Mom’s House, alongside husband and fellow comic Tom Segura.
