While we prepare to endure our own dysfunctional families this holiday season, Bill Burr and the F is for Family team have officially unleashed the first taste of what’s to come of the Murphy’s and their own brand of hilarious dysfunction in the show’s fifth and final season.
Posted on Tuesday (November 9), the chaos that has powered the Murphy family since the show’s premiere on Netflix in 2015 will reconvene on Thanksgiving (November 25), and apparently knows no chill, as we are in for quite a final stand with Frank (voiced by Burr) and the wild cast of characters that he has encountered around the neighborhood over the years.
In addition to Burr, the voice talents of Laura Dern, Justin Long, Sam Rockwell and Al Ducharme will be reprised for the final batch of episodes, with a smattering of guest appearances from Neil Patrick Harris, Fred Malamed, and Patti LuPone adding to the insanity.
