With the candy holiday (Halloween) in the rear view and the alcohol holidays fast approaching (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve), it’s always good to be reminded of the impact booze can have on communications with those around you. Hollows, a fresh indie rock quartet out of Manchester, have the ace tune to prove it in “UV Lights,” a sterling sonic cruiser that dropped this past Friday (October 29).
“‘UV Lights’ is a based around a night out with mates where little arguments and fallouts start coming to light because of the drink,” the band states, with the lyric “Mistakes won’t function you know? / Hidden in plain sight under UV Lights” driving the point home under a shimmering fit of engaging guitar-rock.
New music is soon on the way for Hollows, but in the meantime, we’ll take this tale to heart as we sunset 2021, adding libations to our lifestyle from the late night outs to the family gatherings we’re set to endure. Pour one more and glow under Hollows’ “UV Lights” below.
