Tame Impala, Perfume Genius, Milky Chance and others all announced 2020 tours on this cold, rainy, and miserable Monday, but one announcement truly stands out: Silversun Pickups’ 30-date North American tour that runs through February and March.
And that’s because of the opening act, one that we are very excited to finally see perform live on stage.
That opening act is Eliza & The Delusionals, the Australian guitar-rock project led by Eliza Klatt, who possess one of the absolute best songs of 2019 in the magnetic “Just Exist.” Klatt’s sublime brand of power-pop has certainly caught attention around the world, and we’re very excited to see her and her band finally make it to our shores.
The sad news, however, is that Eliza & The Delusionals will be opening the only the first 13 dates on Silversun Pickups’ tour, from the opening February 4 show in Ventura, California to a February 22 show in New Orleans. Check out all the dates below, and let’s hope maybe Klatt and crew get added to the remaining dates — including that March 2 swing at Boston’s House of Blues.
