Editor's Note: Back in 2013, when we first launched this digital magazine, Hozier took us to church, and we were never the same since. Fast forward six years, we're all so fully grown, and the Irish singer and songwriter still has the ability to captivate. Last night (November 12), Hozier held court and commanded the historic Boch Center's Wang Theatre for the first of two shows in support of this year's Wasteland, Baby!, continuing tonight, and Vanyaland's John Hutchings was there to capture some visuals. We were also treated to an opening set from Australia's Angie McMahon, who is quickly making a name for herself as the winner of this year's SXSW Grulke Prize for Developing Artists, an acclaim also given to the likes of Anderson.Paak, Courtney Barnett, and Haim. McMahon's debut album, Salt, hit this past summer via Dualtone. Check out images from both performances below.
