California indie rapper Oliver Tree is well known for his outlandish videos and unique flair. During the filming of an upcoming music video, the 26-year-old injured his foot jumping out of a hover car. While advised by his doctor not to perform, Tree reportedly said he “wouldn’t miss my last tour for anything.” The Goodbye, Farewell Tour was announced back in June along with the release of a new single and visual as his “last and final tour.” Undeterred, and in a wheelchair, Tree made his debut appearance in Phoenix last night (October 1) selling out The Van Buren, and proclaiming the evening “the best night of tour so far.” The energy and tone for the night were set by Oliver’s long time friend, Los Angeles indie-pop artist NVDES and highly-admired Estonian hip-hop artist Tommy Cash.
