Boo bitch! It’s October 1, the true start of Spooky SZN, and our girl Kim Petras just dropped one of the most devilish albums of the year in Turn Off The Light, a sinister fit of electro and alt-pop that has our inner demon screaming.
Petras, who brings her Clarity Tour to Boston’s Royale on November 22 and 23 (tickets remain for the second show), follows up last year’s release of Turn Off The Light Vol. 1 with her grandest — and darkest — project yet. With 17 tracks over 49 minutes, including eight from the prior release, Petras shows off the darker side of the dance floor with dramatic effect, and album highlights “There Will Be Blood” and “Wrong Turn” should murder nightclubs long after Halloween fades from view.
