Photo Gallery: The 5.6.7.8’s and The Darts live in Phoenix

If you’ve seen Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: Volume 1, you undoubtedly remember The 5.6.7.8’s cameo performance and cover of “Woo Hoo.” While being their biggest international exposure, their true claim to fame comes with being one of Japan’s longest-enduring garage rock bands. Although no new music has been released since 2014, the trio has continued to rock around the world. The ladies are currently rounding out the end of their “USA Tour 2019” that has spanned coast to coast and culminates at the Matsuri Festival at the University of Illinois on September 8. Last night (September 4), the band played to a packed house at The Rhythm Room, just north of downtown Phoenix, with support from part time locals, garage-psych-rock grrls The Darts. Their song ‘Love U 2 Death’ can be heard in the second episode of the most recent season of BBC One drama Peaky Blinders. Check out visuals from last night's show below, starting with the openers.
