Bad Books, the collaborative project between Kevin Devine and Manchester Orchestra’s Andy Hull and Robert McDowell, returned this June after a seven-year hiatus with a new album titled III. The band played to, and laughed with, a sold-out crowd at the Crescent Ballroom last night (August 20) in downtown Phoenix before rounding out the end of a West Coast run in support of the new record. Accompanying them along the tour and supporting them on stage is Nashville-based The Voice contestant Caroline Swon and her solo folk project, Brother Bird. Take a look at both performances below.
