By now you know you fucked up, right? Arthur Baker spun a guest set at Soulelujah a few weeks ago, and you totally slept on it.

Those who were there at The Sinclair Kitchen were treated to proper DJ set that spanned the legendary producer’s career, and luckily for those in Cambridge and around the world, that two-hour set has been posted to Mixcloud.

“On June 15th, 2019, the LEGEND Arthur Baker rolled through Soulelujah,” states the weekly Saturday night party. “Arthur ran through a set of his own material and the crowd reveled in his signature sounds. The tape was rolling, so lets do some time traveling and check it out.”

Before going on to become a pioneering force in electronic music (Afrika Bambaataa & the Soulsonic Force, New Order, New Edition, countless others), Baker was born in Boston and got his start spinning our city’s nightclubs in the ’70s. So his set at Soulelujah was a bit of a homecoming.
