Editor’s Note: Diamante Eléctrico stand out as one of the more prominent bands of the Colombian indie scene. And the Bogotá alt-rock trio of Juan Galeano, Daniel Álvarez, and Andee Zeta showed exactly why last night (July 10) at The Middle East in Cambridge, the band’s latest stop on their summer tour across select cities in the United States. Diamante Eléctrico are up our way showing off last year’s Buitres album (“Vultures”), and Vanyaland’s Maria Alejandra Mata was in the Central Square rock club, a more intimate setting than what the trio are used to playing back home, to document their appearance.
