With all of the Avenging, Hobbs and Shaw-ing and Pikachu detecting, it’s easy to forget that we’re about a month away from getting a brand-spanking-new Godzilla film at the multiplex. It’s almost like this summer might be packed with some pretty big releases by design, eh?
Anyways, Warner Bros. most definitely doesn’t want you to forget that this motherfucker is going to hit screens soon, so they dropped the third and supposedly final trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters on Tuesday, presumably to remind Endgame audiences that their asses need to be back in a month to get their brains annihilated by monster madness.
Check it out:
Here’s a synopsis:
“The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species — thought to be mere myths — rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.”
Godzilla: King of the Monsters hits theaters on May 31. It’s so soon!
