Following this month's release of his debut EP Exident, Dennis Lloyd brought his world tour through downtown Phoenix on Thursday night (April 18). Seattle hip-hop artist Ryan Caraveo opened up the evening with an “album preview,” performing an energetic set chock-full of unreleased songs to a sold-out Crescent Ballroom, a nice tone-setter for the Israeli musician, producer, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. The "Never Go Back" tour kicked off last week in Vancouver, and continues to make major stops from Coachella to East Coast fests like Governor’s Ball and Firefly. From getting up close and personal to stunning the audience with equally impressive vocals, trumpet, and classics guitar skills, the audience was fully engaged from start to finish. Check out our full gallery from last night's Phoenix show below, and those in the Northeast should mark their calendars for June 5, when Lloyd brings the party to Brighton Music Hall in Boston.
