When James Blake played Boston’s House of Blues back in February, fans were treated to a cover of Feist’s “The Limit To Your Love.” Last week the English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer gave a crowd an even greater treat, delivering a somber piano-led rendition of Joy Division’s 1980 post-punk classic “Atmosphere.”
It all went down at the Bristol O2 Academy, and the only thing ruining the entire mood are the two concert-goers talking over the whole damn thing. Apparently, when Ian Curtis sang “Don’t walk away, in silence,” some people took it to heart.
“Apologies for the two girls in front of me who paid £30 each for a chat,” writes Connor Rees on YouTube.
