Blaqk Audio and Silent Rival live at Brighton Music Hall

Photo Gallery: The electronic music project from AFI's Davey Havok and Jade Puget took over Allston last night

Editor's Note: If you took a stroll through Allston Village yesterday afternoon, you may have noticed something a bit odd, at least for the time of year: People camped out along Brighton Avenue just off the corner of Harvard. Turns out Blaqk Audio, the electronic music project from AFI's Davey Havok and Jade Puget, were in town, and fans showed up early to count down the hours before doors opened at Brighton Music Hall. Supporting this month's new album Only Things We Love, Blaqk Audio's all ages show inside the Allston venue was a familial affair among a few hundred of the band's closest New England fans; apparently all reciting nearly every lyric Havok sang right back at the frontman. "The Davey Havok devotion is really something else," says Vanyaland photographer Ted Petrosky, who was in the room to capture visuals among the packed-tight masses. Check out Petrosky's full gallery, including a few snaps at the end of the night's opener, Los Angeles' Silent Rival, below.
